Sir Georg Solti (1912 – 1997) has made the most famous opera houses in the world his home and is the winner of an unequalled 33 Grammys. He was also without doubt one of the greatest conductors and musicians of the 20th century. But above all, he was a friend to humanity and an ambassador of peace, whose legacy lives on in the 21st century through the Solti Foundation, which he founded to foster young musical talent.
